CNBC CFO Council Summit 2024

Here’s what we know: We have a newly elected U.S. president for 2025 who vows to change the way things have been done. How exactly that will play and what impact it will have on corporate America and the economy, we have yet to find out. The Fed has begun to lower interest rates. But we don’t know how much lower they’ll go. Many parts of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act are set to expire at the end of next year. But we don’t know which parts will be renewed, and which will be allowed to expire.

The list of known unknowns is weighing heavily on CFOs as we close out this year.  That's why in December, at the 2024 CNBC CFO Council Summit, we’ll talk through these unknowns, assess their potential impact on business and the economy, and strategize about the interest rate environment, and the tax and trade policy landscape in 2025.
